Eligibility Each
entrant must be a paid-up member of the Force 5 Class Association and each boat
must be measured according to Class Rules.
Rules This
Championship will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions
of US Sailing, Force 5 Class Association Rules and the Sailing Instructions.
Racing There
will be two (2) racing divisions;
Divisions Championship
and Challenger. Entrants in each
division will be determined by class rules.

Fee $100.00 received by Saturday, July 21st, $125.00
thereafter. There will be
additional fees for non-racers.

August 15th, at Thames Yacht Club.

Thursday, August 16th.
Sailing Sailing
Instructions will be available at Registration.
Instructions
Courses Courses
to be sailed will be as described in the Sailing Instructions.
Protests The
display of a red flag pursuant to RRS 61.1 is not required; all other sections
of Section A, Part 5 of the RRS shall apply.
Scoring Scoring
will be as detailed in RRS A4.1 Low Point System. For each 9 races completed, there will be one (1) throw out
race. One race shall be completed
to constitute a championship.
Prizes Suitable
trophies will be awarded to the top five places in the championship division,
top three places in the challenger division, the top female skipper and the top
senior skipper. Awards
presentation will be made at the conclusion of racing on Saturday, August 18th.

entry deadline is Saturday, July 21st; late entry closing (with a
late fee) is Wednesday, August 15th at 2100. Entry Form is attached.
